Telecentric Illumination

Regarding the illumination techniques in machine vision, the concept of telecentric light rays collimating and parallel to the optical axis also applies. Canrill telecentric illuminator machine uses optical devices to direct light from fiber-optic guides or LEDs to the object being examined, producing high-contrast silhouettes. TV central luminescence improves edge contrast and measurement accuracy by reducing diffuse reflection from objects. The collimating light leaves the illuminator and remains on the collimating surface as it strikes the object. In contrast, light from a standard backlight expands and interferes with each other, resulting in diffuse reflection.
